I love a story with an edge, that is driven by emotion, and takes the readers where they ngo. I'm deeply influenced by the romance genre, which I love, however I also always loved young adult fiction which leads a coming of age character to face unsurmountable odds to eventually become a hero. I'm sure this is a strange combination.  I enjoy writing strong secondary characters and even animals into my story. I do not believe a story can be led by one or two main characters, but should have many layers. Caring about the secondary characters makes the story that much richer.
